The University of Fiji counted with three experts in renewable energy from the University of Alicante (Spain) between 29th July and 4th August 2016 during the celebration of the guest lecturers for the pre-enrolled students and teaching staff of the Renewable Energy Management (REM) master programme. Three different subjects were tackled by the experts:
- From conventional energy sources to renewable energies: a general overview (Dr. Joaquín Silvestre)
- Applied thermodynamics for renewable energy (Dr. Andrés Fullana)
- Renewable energy in the EU. The case of renewable energy policy in Spain (Dr. Oana Driha)
The recordings and the written materials of the lecturers will be used as teaching material for the REM programme from 2017 onwards.
