The planned activities have a regional dimension so as to spur and tighten the regional co-operation in renewable energy development. The project outputs are expected to benefit the entire Pacific region, beyond the participated countries, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
The main outputs are:
Renewable Energy Management Master Programme:
The curriculum in Renewable Energy Management will be developed by experts and academics from EU and the Pacific. Followed by a mapping exercise and analysis, a study visit to Spain and trainings will be carried out in Fiji and PNG. Finally, the curriculum will be implemented in the two participated universities, which is beneficial to the whole Pacific region.

Centres of Renewable Energy (CORE):
The established Centres will be equipped with photovoltaic plant as a pilot action for energy self-supply and facilitate the research on solar energy. However, the Centres will be open for other kinds of research and co-operation on renewable energy.
The COREs will also organise activities in national and regional scale to encourage dialogue among stakeholders, enhance research and academic co-operation, and public awareness on renewable energy issues.
